Style & the Bride’s Highlights From White Gallery London 2017

How about this two piece?

Now, I have to tell you something…. I have been working in the bridal industry for over 15 years. I have worked as an Editor of a leading bridal magazine, and am now of course a wedding blogger. As you can imagine, I have seen a lot of wedding dresses in my time. However, I was honestly amazed by the talent at White Gallery London 2017. I thought it is going to be easy to condense all of my photographs from White Gallery London 2017 into one blog post. How wrong was I! I don’t think it is fair to cram all the incredible images I took into one blog post. This is why I have decided to write a part two, which is hopefully going to be up on Style & the Bride tomorrow.

So, what is the White Gallery London?

Yesterday, I headed to Battersea for White Gallery London 2017. For those of you who don’t know, White Gallery is now in its eighth year and is basically where leading designers and luxury bridal retailers from around the world gather each year. It is a chance for press to see the latest designs for 2018 and retailers to contemplate the dresses/accessories they will be stocking in their boutiques for 2018.

Highlights from White Gallery London 2017

The first stand that I came across at the White Gallery London 2017 was Israeli designer Natali Sisauri. The designer, who has more than 25 years experience, is showcasing her designs for the first time at the exhibition. This is a collection for a bride who loves fashion, sheer fabrics and is looking for a dress that defines her. In other words, a wedding dress that is different and will stand out.

How about this glamorous and modern two piece?

This was a stand out dress for me from Natali, I love the collar.

Randy Fenoli

I couldn’t help but stop by at the stand by Randy Fenoli as I got the opportunity to meet the charming Randy himself. For those of you who are not familiar with Randy, he is best known for his work as a fashion designer and television presenter in the States. Randy was the Fashion Director for the bridal store Kleinfeld Bridal from 2007-2017. He has hosted Say Yes To The Dress and Randy Knows Best. Randy has now launched his own bridal collection, which he was showcasing at White Gallery London 2017 for the first time. As Randy has been helping brides find their dream dress for many years, he was keen to create a collection that would appeal to as many brides as possible. I can definitely see this. As well as princess dresses, I couldn’t help but be drawn to more of a simple gown with a bow round the waist.

This Randy Fenoli dress is perfect for a princess bride.

The back of the dress is also incredible.

This Randy dress is very chic.

Stephanie Allin Couture

The next stand I visited was that of Stephanie Allin Couture. Stephanie is by far a newbie. However, there is something to be said for a designer who has been in the industry for many years, but is still evolving. As well as a fresh new logo, Stephanie’s new 2018 collection is aimed at the bride who wants to look feminine but incredibly contemporary too.

The floral design is very romantic, but it is the colour of the dress that gives it a modern edge.

Isn’t this dress so pretty?

THEIA

After Stephanie Allin Couture, I took a look at the stand by THEIA. The collection was inspired by the Greek Goddess Theia, and the idea behind it was to bring out the inner goddess in every woman. One of the models was showcasing a lace top and flowing skirt, ideal for the boho bride. However, I myself was captivated by an exquisite off the shoulder number. So simple, yet so utterly beautiful. THEIA also design bridesmaid dresses, full of sparkly gowns, perfect for a glamorous affair.

The boho bride won’t be able to resist this.

Pure elegance.

Cherry Williams London

One of the parts of my job that I most enjoy is coming across new talented designers such as Cherry Williams of Cherry Williams London. Cherry used to be a couture costume maker working on such blockbusters as Pirates Of The Caribbean. The London based designer has a lightness of touch and an understanding of what the stylish fashion conscious bride wants. If you are reading this at the White Gallery London 2017, I would definitely encourage you to stop by her stand.
