An Elegantly Chic Wedding In Spain With Beautiful Touches
8th March 2016

You can’t fail to be impressed by Jenny and Cathal’s elegantly chic wedding in Spain. ‘I am so delighted for you to write about the wedding as I know it would be the biggest thank you to the venue, the photographer, the florist, and basically everyone that played such a part in making our day so magic,’ says Jenny. How utterly lovely are Jenny’s words? I felt compelled to share this with you with you as some of the brides I feature are just such sweet people.
Jenny says that she gets goose bumps even thinking about her wedding. ‘Having had a really difficult 2014 with family illness and loss, we knew 2015 had to be a better year,’ explains Jenny. ‘Nothing prepared us for the magic of what lay ahead, from the run up to the wedding to the day itself. 120 of our closest friends and family travelled from our home town of Dublin, Ireland and the rest from London, UK where we live now to be there. Everyone decided to make a week of it so the anticipation and spirits were high.’
The couple decided to get married in Spain as they both studied Spanish at university and started dating when they were living out there. Their wedding venue was Castel D’Emporda. Jenny and Cathal’s wedding photographer was Daniel at People Producciones.
Jenny has her own business, Home & Pantry, a home and accessories store in London, and is passionate about interiors and fashion. ‘I shipped lots of my favourite lanterns, flowers, vases and t-lights from the shop over to decorate on the day,’ says Jenny.’I had so many ideas and styles I love, but in the end I decided on Romantic Chic, a style that complemented the true romance and beauty of the vintage castle and its tiny rustic church.’
I am sure you will agree with me that Jenny and Cathal’s elegantly chic wedding in Spain, which took place on the 4th June 2015, is just sublime.
