Style & the Bride Logo

Welcome to the UK's most stylish wedding blog

I am so excited to share my passion for the world of bridal with you, my fashionable bride-to-be’s. I am dedicated to sharing with you the latest wedding fashion trends, the most beautiful real weddings, inspirational receptions, gorgeous hair and beauty ideas, dream honeymoons and much, much more.

To give you a bit of background on myself, I got my first taste of weddings at the tender age of 23 when I was lucky enough to attend the A-list celebrity wedding of Victoria and David Beckham. I didn’t realise it at the time but the Beckham wedding ignited my passion for the wedding industry.

After editing Cosmopolitan Bride magazine, and freelancing for national bridal and non-bridal magazines, I decided to launch Style & the Bride.

I know that you are about to embark on one of the most exciting times of your life. My aim is to help you achieve the most incredible wedding day, your style, your way.

How To Have A Stylish Tennis Themed Wedding

Is it possible to have a stylish tennis themed wedding?

If somebody had asked me this questions before putting together this wedding blog, I would probably have said no.

However, after a bit of research, I came to the conclusion that it is most definitely possible to have a stylish tennis themed wedding.

Themed weddings generally scare couples. Tacky is a word that is frequently used when people talk about them. Of course themed weddings can look tacky, but like everything, if they are done correctly, they can of course look elegant.

Now, of course there is no point in having a tennis themed wedding if you or your partner don’t love the sport. I do think it is important that you both love tennis as it is not just your partner’s wedding, but yours too.

Of course, a tennis themed wedding is simply perfect for around Wimbledon time. Not only will you and your partner be in the ‘tennis mood,’ but so hopefully will all your guests.

If you are looking for a suitable ‘tennis’ wedding venue, you could have your reception at The Queen’s Club, which is located in the heart of West Kensington. For more details, click here.

So for all you Andy Murray and Serena Williams fans who love the idea of having a tennis themed wedding, but are not sure how to go about it, hopefully these ideas below will give you plenty of inspiration when it comes to planning your own big day.
